We make the process easy for you. When you call Bert Plumbing, we’ll put you in touch with the best designer for your idea - whether it's a small replacement or a completely new bathroom. We'll discuss your needs and come up with a plan. You'll find a great selection of brand names to choose from, and when you're satisfied, we'll write down a cost estimate. Once you approve it, we'll get started.
Initial stages
About six months before work begins, you'll probably be dreaming up the perfect situation. Know that your budget will likely limit this, but this is the time when it's okay to think big. That way, when you do have to start breaking down the numbers, you'll recall which elements are most important to you. Start doing your research, do some searching, find inspiration; get an idea as to what you're looking for.
In the interim
Once you've got a plan in place, start asking around. Draw some basic outlines if possible. Talk to contractors and get written quotes. Work on your budget and get expert opinions to stay within the realms of possibility. Choose the bathroom contractor that not only gives a great rate, but that also gives you confidence that they'll see the job in the same way you do. As the project begins

Begin clearing the area you're working on, taking care to ask about the plumbing and heating systems to make sure the contractor has access to everything they'll need.
During and after
Be sure that you have constant contact with the team you choose. A contractor who can't adapt to requests has either done a poor job of clarifying things before the project began, or they're inflexible and probably won't get much easier to deal with when the bill arrives. Don't be afraid to inspect the work yourself once it is complete. Be relaxed, but firm. Ask questions. And finally, the last step: celebrate!
